Warranty & Claims


Hay Furniture and Lighting products have a warranty period of 5 years* from the date of purchase.

Hay Accessories do not have a warranty period.

***** HAY’s 5-year product warranty is not applicable for accessories, rugs, outdoor furniture or small indoor furniture (e.g. side tables such as DLM, Tray Table, Slit, etc.) and it does not apply to separately purchased parts or spare parts. 


Should you encounter any issues with a received item, we kindly request you to reach out to our team within 48 hours of identifying the problem.

To facilitate a seamless resolution, our customer service team requires the following details to process your claim:

  • Order number
  • Photograph of the packaging
  • Photograph of any labels affixed to the packaging
  • Photograph highlighting the area of the detected fault

It's imperative to note that a claim cannot be initiated without of all the aforementioned information.

Please be informed that claims for Hay Accessories items will not be entertained, as they fall outside the of our warranty coverage.

Furthermore, it's important to recognise that natural materials, such as timber or marble, may exhibit variations in grain, colour, and texture. These inherent discrepancies are not indicative of a fault and, therefore, do not qualify for a claim under our policy.
